JOB SUMMERY
We are seeking a highly experienced Structural Engineering Leader to serve as the Final Technical Authority across structural design, compliance, certification, testing, and engineering systems.
This is a decision-making and sign-off role — not a review or support function. The selected candidate will carry complete accountability for structural integrity, ETA approvals, EN welding compliance, and adherence to IS, EN, FEM, RMI, and AISC standards.
The position requires strong ownership of engineering governance, design automation systems (auto layouts, BOQ/BOM, costing tools), in-house testing setup guidance, manufacturing alignment, and long-term team capability building.
The role demands technical authority, ethical strength, and the ability to take firm engineering decisions under commercial pressure without compromising safety or compliance.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Final Technical Authority
• Final sign-off for structural calculations, drawings, and compliance documents
• Ownership of structural safety, integrity, and regulatory adherence
• Full accountability for technical risks and corrective engineering decisions - Compliance, Certification & Testing
• Lead ETA processes and European compliance frameworks
• Ensure EN welding standards and international code adherence
• Govern IS, EN, FEM, RMI, AISC compliance
• Oversee audits, documentation, and certification processes
• Guide setup and governance of in-house testing systems - Engineering & Customer Solutions
• Approve structural layouts, drawings, BOM/BOQ, and method statements
• Ensure manufacturable, safe, and commercially viable solutions
• Validate both manual and software-based structural calculations - Design Automation & Systems Development
• Drive automation of layout generation, BOQ/BOM preparation, and costing systems
• Develop structured engineering approval workflows
• Collaborate with software vendors to build scalable internal tools - Manufacturing & Project Alignment
• Provide direct technical guidance to manufacturing teams
• Support projects and installation teams with structural clarifications
• Lead failure analysis and root cause investigations
• Ensure production alignment with approved design intent - Team Leadership & Expansion
• Lead existing engineering team of 9 members
• Expand team strength up to 20 members
• Build internal technical capability and mentoring systems
• Establish performance review and accountability frameworks

SUCCESS MEASUREMENT (First 6–12 Months)

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
• 15+ years experience in structural engineering (steel / storage / heavy structures)
• Strong exposure to ETA, EN welding standards, testing, and audits
• Expertise in STAAD, RFEM/RSTAB, ANSYS, AutoCAD, advanced Excel
• Strong manual structural calculation capability
• Experience leading engineering teams
• Comfortable taking final technical accountability
